Clubs & Activities
We know that students need opportunities to connect with other children outside the classroom. Joining a club gives children a comfortable place to meet others with similar interests. This often forms the basis for lifelong friendships.
Our schools offer a wide range of clubs for students who want to explore music, math, theater, community service, sports, science, reading, writing, games, problem-solving and much more.

Odyssey of the Mind
-
Odyssey of the Mind is a unique academic program designed to encourage students to creatively tackle problems and find solutions. Teams of up to seven students are formed to solve one of five Long-term problems (Vehicle, Technical, Classics, Structure, or Performance) and present the solution in an 8 minute performance. In addition, teams compete to solve a Spontaneous problems on the day of competition.
Odyssey of the Mind culminates in a team competition. As such, students participating in Odyssey should be prepared to participate in the class, as well as extra-curricular activities and meetings with their team. All team members must be present at the Regional competition, as well as State and Worlds, if the team advances. The date for the Regional competition is not yet available, but is typically the first Saturday of March, and is a full day commitment.
In order to join the Odyssey of the Mind class you must complete an application, (available HERE)
