RECORDER - There are many quality, inexpensive recorders available for purchase so DON'T BUY A TOY. Toys are often found at flea markets, dollar stores, toy departments, etc. and they often cost nearly as much as a real recorder. Some good brands for beginning recorders are: YAMAHA, AULOS,

Nash owns a an assortment of instruments which can be borrowed by students depending on availablity; i.e. C Flute, Bb Clarinet, Eb Alto Saxophone, Bb Trumpet, C Trombone, C Euphonium/Baritone, Percussion - Drums/Bells.Other instruments may possibly be taught on a case by case basis. Ask Mrs. Myhr-Arrison for details.
Nash also owns a an assortment of instruments which can be borrowed by students depending on availablity; i.e. Violin, Viola, Cello, String Bass.
Students may also use purchased or rented instruments. BE SURE to purchase a good quality instrument otherwise students may/will experience difficulties, think it's their fault when it's really the fault of the instrument, and quit because they think they aren't talented enough in music. Those instruments also break easily and you'll have much more expensive repair bills. Don't let that happen to your child! If you purchase a used instrument, be sure to research reputable Brands!
