Welcome to the Copper Creek Library!

Hello! I am Stacey Douglas and I am very excited to be starting my 4th year as the Copper Creek Librarian! I was born and raised in Tucson, Arizona – although I moved away to Phoenix & California many years ago, I came back to live in Oro Valley in 2009 & love it! Through the years, I have worked in social work and law enforcement, before landing in the Amphitheater School District. I loved subbing in special education, health services, and the library – and am now thrilled to be a school librarian! I am blessed to work with such an amazing staff & incredible community.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my husband, Jeff, & our three daughters, Keira, Kaylee & Izzy - as well as our crazy puppy Boomer. Our oldest attend Ironwood Ridge High School, & Izzy is at Innovation Academy. Our family is kept very busy between marching band, cheer, & gymnastics amongst the girls. We also love traveling as a family - our adventures have taken us all over the U.S., including Alaska!

Please feel free to stop in anytime or check out our photo gallery to see our library. I am always upgrading & changing the library to make things better for our students. Our expansive library has over 40,000 books – with new books hitting the shelves weekly.
