I have been a part of the Amphitheater School District since my family moved to Tucson in 1978. I attended LuLu Walker Elementary School, Amphi Middle School, and Amphi High School. After graduation from high school I went on a journey that included being a first responder in our community for almost a decade. In 2001 I returned to Amphitheater working at Amphi High School and then at our District offices. At some point along this path I chose to follow in my mother's footprints and become a teacher as she had been when I was younger. I returned to school and become a teacher. Many years and 4 college degrees later I received my special education credentials and now serve the district I grew up in as a special education teacher.
