My name is Brenda Mendez, I am a graduate of the University of Arizona, College of Education with a Major in Elementary Education and a Minor in Spanish. In addition, I am also a graduate of Northern Arizona University with a Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education. Over the course of the last ten years, I have had the privilege of teaching grades KG-4^th.

                 I enjoy applying what I've learned from both my education and previous teaching experience and incorporating that into my classroom to create a successful learning environment.  I consider myself to be a happy, energetic and organized person with a passion to teach and have fun while teaching. I am always busy doing the things I love to do; spending time with family, traveling with my husband and two children and learning more about education.
