My name is Colin Cordell and I am excited to be a part of the Innovation Academy 5th grade team. This will be my 19th year teaching, and my fifth in Amphi. I have taught kindergarten, fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh, and eighth grades previously. I have taught fully self-contained classes as well as a subject expert in science, math, language arts, and physical education. 

Defining moment in education:

In 1998 I was awarded a Gold Key for best sports story and layout for my work on the 1998 Salpointe Catholic High School yearbook. That taught me that hard work and trust in the writing process pays off.
