Introducing: PATH

(Personalized Alternative Track High School Program)

Amphitheater High School’s new Alternative Education Program was created to ensure that all of our students are on track to graduate.

A blended learning model will be used to allow students to recover credits. The PATH classes will use Edgenuity, the on-line learning system, in conjunction with a classroom - based curriculum to enrich student learning. Edgenuity offers standards-aligned, video-based curriculum to support a high school blended learning environment. The program allows educators to customize and individualize the curriculum for students.

The PATH Program will be built around a flexible schedule to offer students more time to meet with teachers in small groups and one - on - one capacities. The flexibility of the schedule will allow teachers time to monitor student progress and counsel with students to ensure success with course curriculum. Students will be able to continuously access and monitor their own progress while completing lessons, assessments, and interactive activities.
