When Should A Student Take The PSAT?
We recommend that students take the PSAT in October of their Sophomore & Junior years. This test is great preparation for the SAT and it is the only test that can qualify you for the National Merit Scholarship.
-
When Should A Student Take The SAT/SAT II/ACT?
We recommend that students take the SAT or the ACT in the Spring of their Junior Year. It is a good idea to do this rather than wait until your senior year as it leaves you plenty of time for a second try if you're not happy with your score. It also leaves you time to focus on your college application in the Fall of your Senior year.
