• Give our Dorados the credit they deserve!

Give our Dorados the credit they deserve by making an Arizona Tax Credit Donation!

If you pay Arizona state taxes, you are eligible to make a tax credit donation to Canyon del Oro High School to support extracurricular activities such as clubs, athletics and fine arts programs. This is a dollar for dollar credit that will redirect your taxes directly to CDO.  When you make a donation, you get to decide exactly which after school program you want to support.

Contributions can be made in increments throughout the year, or as a lump sum up to $200 or $400 for married couples filing a joint return. Make a donation online today at the district Tax Credit page or Download an easy to use form and send your donation directly to CDO.

Anyone who pays Arizona state taxes is eligible to participate.  You do not need to have a student at CDO to make a donation and receive the credit.  Don’t miss out on your chance to give our Dorados the credit they deserve!

    Tax Credit Donation Testimonials:

“Dream Team uses tax credit for club supplies (anything purchased at Fry's that students can benefit and learn from or with), spring trips that involve a competition of some sort.   Dream Team depends A LOT on tax credit money.”  Pam Duarte, Dream Team Teacher

“CDO Volleyball has used its tax credit money to pay for coaching staff addendums, equipment (such as ball baskets, nets, etc.), and tournament fees/costs. Paying for assistant coaches through tax credit helps free up club account money – which can be used for gear for the kids (stuff they get to keep like shirts, spandex, shoes, socks, etc.). This is a big expense for us because the district only provides addendums for the Head Coach and 2 other coaches on staff; except for boys’ volleyball, we only get 1 coach paid for.”   David Garwacki, Teacher and Volleyball Coach

“We use tax credit funds to pay for Odyssey teams traveling to World Finals each year.”  Cymry Deboucher, Teacher and Odyssey of the Mind Coach

“Wrestling uses tax credit money to pay our entry fees for tournaments and lodging for out of town tournaments. We also used them this year to purchase new uniforms for the wrestling team to wear during championship matches.”  Ryan Vossler, PE Teacher and Wrestling Coach

“The Science Club has used general tax credit funds to cover the cost of transportation to the Science Olympiad competition.”  Mitzi Wieduwilt, Science Teacher

“We used it to pay for robot parts for our competition.  We also used it to pay for travel expenses.”  Todd Hatch, Engineering Teacher

“We use Tax Credit for participating, transporting, and lodging for competitions for Orchestra.”  Toru Tagawa, Orchestra Teacher

“When the University of Arizona had the Language Fair, the Sign Language Club students attended and used the money for travel on the bus.”  Neala Sillman, Sign Language Teacher

“For Link Crew I use tax credits for conferences for the leaders, t-shirts, and any freshman function that we sponsor. In Track and Field I use it to pay coaches, entry fees for meets, and feeding the athletes.” Michelle Gerard, PE Teacher, Track Coach, and Link Crew Advisor
