• JTED stands for Joint Technical Education District. JTED provides high school students opportunities to explore vocations using industry-standard equipment and facilities, while earning viable certifications. Courses are well-articulated and students can earn college credit, depending on the area of study. Programs are run at high school sites and at JTED's central sites.

CDO offers the following programs on-site:
    •Automotive Technology
    •Communications Media Technology (Photo)
    •Construction Technologies
    •Culinary Arts
    •Drafting and Design Technologies
    •Early Childhood Education
    •Information Technology (Software Design)
    •Sports Medicine
    •Technical Theater

Students on our campus also attend the JTED Masterpieces campus to explore a number of additional courses. All off-campus JTED courses are detailed at the Pima County JTED site.  Applications are open annually starting in mid-January for the following school year.

Please make an appointment with Ms. Harris, CDO's CTE/JTED counselor, if you have more questions about JTED.
