    Behavior Management And Responsibility Program

The behavior management that I use in our first grade classroom is called the Rainbow Club.  This program is researched based and focuses on the positive rather than negative aspects of behavior. The program consists of students earning Golden Tickets throughout the day. We then end each day with a Pot of Gold drawing.  Three to five Golden Tickets are selected randomly and a prize is earned.  The components of the Rainbow Club afford every student the opportunity to manage his or her own behavior. Your child deserves the most positive educational climate possible for academic growth; therefore, these policies will be in effect at ALL times.  Severe behavior infractions are referred to the Behavior Intervention Monitor and/or principal.  Once monthly, we celebrate our appropriate behavior by having Rainbow Club.  Rainbow Club consists of different fun activities/games that the children participate in.
