• The Lulu Walker health office is staffed by our Health Aide, Tanyia Ruiz.
Mrs. Ruiz is first aid and CPR trained, and she is available to students who are ill or injured during school hours.

To help keep your child healthy, please make sure s/he has a good breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Your child should drink plenty of water. Keep your children home if they have a temperature of 100 degrees or higher, have diarrhea, or have been vomiting. If your child experiences any of these ailments at school, s/he will be sent home and will not be permitted back to school until fever (or symptom) free for 24 hours.

If your child contracts a contagious illness such as strep throat, pink eye, chicken pox, or head lice s/he may not return to school unless s/he have been medically treated and is symptom free. Please notify the health office staff at 696-6516 if your child has been diagnosed with any contagious illness so it can be noted.

Please call with updated contact information, should your home or emergency phone numbers change during the year.

Medication Permits and policy information can be found on the Amphi District Home Page, under the Health Service Department.
