Welcome

Welcome to Walker Physical Education.  My name is Brian Donahue.  This is my 22nd year, both teaching and at Walker.  I'm excited about all of the things we will experience this year.

Defining Moment in Education

The biggest influence on my life in becoming a teacher was my high school PE Teacher and Wrestling Coach, Coach Newman.  He enjoyed teaching and enjoyed the relationships that he developed with his students and athletes.

Core Educational Belief

I believe that all students have the ability to learn and be successful in Physical Education.  My goal in my program is to give my students something that they will enjoy so much that they will be able to participate in the rest of their lives.  So many people become less active after 25, so getting students to be excited about an activity they can participate in for life is key.
