2nd Grade Mini-Muster

Each Fall, members of the Northwest Fire Department educate our 2nd Grade Walker students on fire safety with a Mini-Muster school program. 

Students learn about fire escape planning, smoke alarms, home fire safety, crawling low beneath smoke levels, and stop, drop, and roll.
Students also have the opportunity to spray fire hoses and race in obstacle courses. 

Students have a great time interacting with the firefighters!

This is a memorable day for second graders! 

Plan on volunteering that day so you can join in on the fun!
