Welcome to second grade! This year you will watch your child grow and develop into a thinker. Every child will learn to explore their world through reading, writing, math, science and social studies. My goal is to make them independent learners who enjoy delving into new subjects, writing about them, reading new genres and reseaching what excites them.

I have been working for the Amphitheater School District since 1984. I began working at Lulu Walker in 1990.

I am very excited about this year! We will be learning soooo much every day. Our goals for this year are for every child to feel successful in school with both their academic achievement as well as their personal and social growth. Our classroom will use the Kind Kids Program to help us learn and get along with each other in the classroom, at home and in our community.

I am a Nationally Board Certified Teacher (NBCT)

I have five kids of my own: Andrea, Nichole, Dominic, Carlos and Rita and two grandchildren, Gabriel and Isabel. I began teaching in 1984, and I started teaching at Walker in 1990.

I really enjoy working at Walker because the teachers are very compassionate about their teaching and the students are very enthusiastic here. The Walker parent community is also very supportive of our educational goals.
