I was born and raised in Tucson, Arizona.  I went to Holaway Elementary, Amphi Middle School and Amphi High School (go Panthers!).  I always loved school, and I always wanted to be a teacher.  When I graduated from the University of Arizona (go Wildcats!), I taught for 17 years at Robins Elementary School in TUSD.  In 2017, I made the jump to middle school, and it was one of the best decisions of my life!  I love teaching math, and I love teaching at La Cima!

In my free time, I love spending time with my 1 evil cat, 2 goofy dogs, 4 amazing children and 1 giant fiance (see how I used some math there?).  I like to hike and ride my bike when it's not too hot, and I love to read and watch movies, regardless of the weather.  I love to do art, mostly painting and drawing.  My family plays a lot of games-- we always have some dice and a pack of cards handy. And we love to cook and bake.  We sometimes have contests and challenges with each other like the ones we like to watch on TV.
