Ms. Mary Krutzsch
Hello! My name is Mary Krutzsch and I am so excited to be joining the La Cima team as a Language Arts Resource Teacher. I am a native Tucsonian and a graduate of both the University of Arizona and Northern Arizona University. In my free time, I enjoy reading, writing, sewing, drawing, feeding my hummingbirds, and doing general arts and crafts. Around town, you can often find me perusing a book store or scouting supplies for a crafting project.
My core educational belief is that all students can be successful. Throughout my career as a teacher, I have experienced firsthand how powerful it is to provide students with the proper tools and plenty of positive encouragement. Each year however, I continue to be blown away by the incredible accomplishments made by my students in class. They simply cannot help but reach for new heights and I imagine that this year will be no different. It is these moments of student success that define the field of education. There is nothing better than sharing a student's great triumph and knowing that they will only rise from there.
Prior to working for Amphi, I have taught 7th and 8th grade ELA resource at Vail School District and K-5 Resource for both ELA and math at Catalina Foothills. I am so excited to be joining the Amphi family and helping foster a love of learning for my students.
