Dr. Cara Carson
Hello and Welcome Cardinals!
This is my second year teaching at La Cima Middle School. Before moving to Southern Arizona, I taught for three years in elementary and middle schools in Central Arizona. I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Special Education from Arizona State University (Go Devils!) in 2008, a Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instructional Design in 2010, as well as, my Doctorate in Educational Leadership from Grand Canyon University in 2015. Outside of teaching I enjoy camping, traveling, dancing, and attending concerts with my husband, Dr. Blong, and our two children, Carson (7) and Lili (5).
