The CDO Library opened on February 28, 1972, with 10,000 items and is 11,363 square feet. Our collection now contains over 35,000 items including books, videos, DVD's, CD's, audio tapes, records, filmstrips, and audiovisual equipment for teachers. We have 100 networked computers, which includes 30 laptops, with access to the internet available to students and two Smart Boards (interactive whiteboards) for teacher instruction.
The CDO Library is one of the most used resources on campus where students will find many different sources of information. We offer free services including computer printing, access to online databases, magazines, a scanner, computer and research assistance, book lists, and reading suggestions. A copy machine is also available. To find out what else we offer, stop by and talk with a librarian.
