Hello! My name is Ashley Coyne and this is my fourth year teaching at Wilson K-8. I am originally from Palatine, Illinois but moved to the Tucson area in 2018. I graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2016 with a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education, minor in Spanish and ESL endorsement. Before moving to Arizona, I taught Kindergarten and first grade in Urbana, Illinois for two years. 

I aspire to provide meaningful and engaging learning experiences for my first grade students as well as meet their individual needs. When I am not teaching or planning, I love spending time outside and exploring new places! My favorite things to do outside of school are hike with my dog, bike, read and spend time with my family and friends. 

I am looking forward to the year ahead and am so happy to be part of the Wrangler family.
