Welcome to Reading Intervention!

It's a pleasure to be serving as the Elementary Reading Interventionist at Wilson. My goal is to provide a nurturing and inviting atmosphere in which children can experience academic success through purposeful, interesting, and challenging learning experiences.  I am happy to be able to support students and staff across grades K through 5 to help children attain their highest potential.  

Core Educational Belief

I believe that all children can learn. Every student is unique, so quality assessment and matching instruction to his/her needs is critical to success.  Children learn in different ways and it is important to find their strengths and weaknesses and to cater to those in order to challenge their thinking.  It is equally important that children believe in themselves and are made to feel confident so that they are able to realize their potential.
