Welcome to our Reach class at Wilson K-8 in beautiful Oro Valley, Arizona. I am looking forward to a fantastic year!  I have my B.A. in Psychology and my Master's Degree in Education with an emphasis in school counseling.  I am a certified K-8 teacher, gifted teacher, and school counselor.  I started my teaching career at Rio Vista Elementary teaching 4th grade and math intervention, and then moved to Wilson in 2001.

 I am a big U of A fan - Go Cats!  

Defining Moment in Education

When I started college, my major was accounting. Both of my parents were accountants and ran a small accounting firm out of our house.  In my sophomore year of college, I worked as a teacher's aide in a 4th-grade classroom at Long Beach Unified School District.  I loved the job so much and learned so much from the teacher that I decided to change my major.  I have been working with kids ever since.

I believe that every student can be successful in my classroom.  I know that it is important for me to help students reach their full potential and gain the skills needed to succeed in their daily lives and future.
