Tucson, AZ - Amphitheater School District has been granted AdvancED School System Accreditation from the AdvancED Accreditation Commission.
This means that the system and all of its schools are accredited, and that Amphitheater School District is recognized across the nation as a quality school system.
AdvancEd Associate Director of Accreditation Alena Clark said, "We want to recognize the District leadership for electing Amphitheater to have all of its schools accredited." During the Amphi Governing Board meeting October 7 Clark said, "It has been an honor to return here, and I sing the praises of Amphitheater – a system that walks its talk for all."
The accreditation process involves meeting high quality standards; implementing a continuous process of improvement; and engaging in quality assurance through internal and external review.
"School System Accreditation provides Amphi Schools a nationally-recognized mark of quality for our system and all the schools within our system," said Superintendent Patrick Nelson. "It demonstrates to our community our commitment to excellence, our openness to external review and feedback, and our desire to be the best we can be on behalf of the students we serve."
