Welcome to my English classroom webpage.  I am Jane Doe and have been teaching since 1998. I teach English 11 & English 12 classes.  I enjoying working with students and feel great reward when a student improves their writing or when they find a piece of literature that excites them.

Defining Moment in My Education

As a high school student, I volunteered to help in the classrooms in the elementary school. The exposure to helping students learn and the joy of succeeding motivated me to want to help children. As I reflected on the teachers who impacted my educational development, I was encouraged by these teachers who helped me want to help others.

Core Educational Beliefs

There is no such thing as a bad question. We learn from asking and we learn from being creatively stimulated to explore. Today's students need a chance to be active in their educational growth and be spurred to be creative in working through their educational challenges
