Message from the Superintendent
When I returned to Amphitheater Public Schools in 2017 in the role of Superintendent, I never imagined what the years to come might hold. I remain honored and inspired by the opportunity to serve this great school district community once again.
We take great pride in our talented team of educators and dedicated staff across the District in a time with unprecedented change and an ever-evolving reality.
Throughout it all, Amphitheater remains poised to become the premier school district in Arizona in the next five years. We enjoy a community with both high expectations for, and commitment to, our District. We have parents who trust and seek out our schools for their children; we have dedicated and caring staff who exemplify the true meaning of highly qualified in many ways; and, we have diverse students with earnest minds and incredible dreams. Together, we share in those dreams, and we have an obligation to help fulfill them.
We know that educating a child is not a one-size-fits-all undertaking. Amphitheater staff and teachers work with parents and students to ensure that each child has opportunities to grow and excel in all subject areas and we are dedicated to maximizing the academic experiences and results for all students.
Most importantly, what sets our district apart is “The Amphi Way” – a climate and culture built, like any family, on collaboration, caring, and a child-centered environment.
Thank you for your interest in the Amphitheater School District and I hope you take time to explore all that Amphi has to offer.
Todd A. Jaeger, J.D.
Welcome to Amphitheater Public Schools. We look forward to helping you learn about our educational opportunities and guiding you through our enrollment and registration processes.
If you are interested in open enrolling in a school that is not your neighborhood school, we invite you to learn more here:
If your children are currently enrolled in your neighborhood school or are leveling up to your neighborhood middle or high school, you do not need to complete open enrollment forms. Check with your school for registration information in the spring.
