  • About Our Programs

Amphitheater High School - Automotive Diesel Technology

Amphitheater High School Auto/Diesel is a 3-year hands-on program designed to fully immerse students in the world of automotive and diesel technology.  By the end of the third year, the students have gone from learning basic oil changes on passenger cars to performing heavy diesel maintenance tasks. The shop is located on Amphitheater High School’s campus and serves teachers, staff, and students through work-based learning.

Canyon del Oro High School - Automotive Technology

The automotive class at CDO is an advanced program that teaches students how to maintain, diagnose, and repair vehicles. The program is student centered and revolves around being collaborative and working with their hands in real life situations. The program has up-to-date technology that will broaden the student’s horizon and set them up for success post high school. We ensure that all the students leaving the program are college and career ready. Students leaving the automotive program will know how to do oil changes, tire mounting, tire balancing, alignments, electrical, suspension, diagnostic, and so much more.
