English Language Acquisition
The English Language Acquisition Department is dedicated to ensuring that all of our English learners (ELs) can participate meaningfully and equitably in the educational programs within the district. Our English Language Development (ELD) classes are provided with sufficient resources to make certain those programs are successfully implemented by highly qualified teachers using appropriate instructional materials. We believe that linguistically and culturally different students bring special talents and abilities into every classroom and the school setting is enriched by their presence.
