Amphitheater Public Schools

In Arizona, families can apply to attend a school outside of their residential boundary by completing an open enrollment application. Please click the appropriate link below to begin the open enrollment process. Note that one of our Pre-K-5 schools, Innovation Academy, has a separate application process (see below).

The applications above are required for families who wish to apply for a school that is not their home school. 

Innovation Academy is a Pre-K-5 school that does not have a designated boundary. All students who attend Innovation Academy must go through the open enrollment process. If you would like your child to attend Innovation Academy, please click on the appropriate link below to apply. Note that Innovation Academy will review applications and will contact you to let you know the status of your application.

If you have a student enrolled in an Amphi school and would like to enroll another student for kindergarten, you will complete that process in the Parent Portal by adding the new student to your household in the portal. (When you are ready to begin the process, please find information about documents you may need by clicking here.)

Exceptions for adding new students:

• Open Enrollment. If you would like the new child to attend a school outside of your school boundary, please use the links below to complete and Open Enrollment application.

• Innovation Academy: Innovation Academy is an all Open Enrollment school. Please complete the links below if you would like to submit an application for Innovation Academy.

Examples:

• You have a second-grader attending an Amphitheater elementary school and need to enroll your kindergarten student. Please visit the Parent Portal to enroll the kindergarten student.
• Your child attends an Amphi preschool, but you don’t have another student enrolled in the District. Please visit the dropdown for families with students new to the District. The process is the same for new kindergarteners and new students in any grade.

Please contact the registrar at the school your child attends for preschool for assistance with registration for next year. This will ensure your child’s enrollment matches their needs and education plans.
