Amphitheater's three high schools -- Amphitheater High School, Canyon del Oro and Ironwood Ridge -- offer a well-rounded education that prepares students for college, careers, and life. We provide a variety of academic pathways, including advanced learning opportunities like Advanced Placement (AP), International Baccaleureate, honors courses, robust Career & Technical choices and dual enrollment programs, allowing students to challenge themselves and earn college credit while still in high school.
Beyond academics, our high schools support student growth through strong athletic programs, with teams competing in a wide range of sports, promoting teamwork, leadership, and physical fitness. A wide variety of electives allow students to explore personal interests and develop new skills in areas such as the arts, technology, world languages, and more.
Additionally, our clubs and extracurricular activities foster a sense of community and belonging, enabling students to pursue their passions, whether through student government, robotics, drama, debate, or cultural clubs. These opportunities help students build confidence, leadership skills, and lasting friendships, rounding out the high school experience and preparing them for future success.
