While we are excited to launch the new sites, the project does come with a few potential (and temporary) issues. We request your patience and assistance as we continue to refine the pages on each site.

Promise of a Graduate

In Amphitheater, we believe in the promise of every student, and we promise to deliver the educational experiences children need to grow and flourish, from the first day of their kindergarten year to the day they walk across the stage and earn their high school diplomas. One of our core missions is to deliver on the Promise of a Graduate, instilling eight key skills and characteristics in our students as they grow from year to year. Those qualities are Scholarship, Creative Thinking, Problem Solving, Critical Thinking, Collaboration, Communication, Caring and Citizenship.

Preschool and Kindergarten Experiences

Amphitheater offers free all-day kindergarten and has preschool programs at all elementary schools and our three high schools, where high school students get real-world teaching experience and the little learners form bonds with the big kids.

Innovation and Invention

Students in the Amphitheater District are encouraged to be creative and innovative in all of their studies. One example: High school students in engineering classes are challenged each year to build a boat out of cardboard and race it across a pool without sinking.

Amphitheater prepares students for the future, with high-quality curriculum in the fundamentals and opportunities to gain valuable skills for after they graduate with Career and Technical Education (CTE), dual enrollment and internship opportunities. Students in Amphitheater schools receive science, technology, engineering, arts and math education through hands-on experiences and rich curriculum aligned with state standards.

The Great Outdoors

Our schools offer children in elementary, middle and high school activities where students can play, compete and challenge themselves. Our elementary schools have large playgrounds and an annual track meet, and our middle and high schools offer athletic programs that teach students sports skills and lessons about life.
