Recognitions, Information, Study, Study/Action and Action Items on Agendas

Besides a Consent section, other categories of items can be placed on the Agenda.  Recognitions and Information Items are placed on the first meeting of the month's agendas. A Study Item provides information on a topic for the Board's study and discussion; no action will be taken.  A Study/Action Item provides information on a topic for study and discussion with the option to approve a recommended action at the meeting, or postpone action if changes or further review is required.  An Action Item is presented to the Board with a recommendation for immediate action.

    Consent Agendas

A Consent Agenda format is used for many routine matters.  Items listed under this heading will be grouped for consideration and voted on with one motion.  Unless a Board Member requests otherwise, there will not be separate discussion of these items.  However, if such a request is made, the item will be taken from the Consent Agenda and considered separately.
