Mr. Ben Anderson
Welcome to my page! My name is Ben Anderson and I am teaching AP Calculus AB, Intro to Calculus and Advanced Algebra II at Ironwood Ridge High School. This is my second year at IRHS and my 5th year teaching. Previously I taught AP Calculus, Algebra I and Algebra II at Marana High School.
I was born and raised in Saint Paul, MN. My passion for music took me to Boston, MA to study Bassoon Performance at the New England Conservatory of Music. Years later I found myself in Tucson graduating from the Univsersity of Arizona with a BS in Mathematics. I live with two amazing dogs and the lovely Mrs. Anderson who teachers English at IRHS. In our free time we love visiting Pinetop and singing/performing with local community theaters.
My core educational belief is that all students can learn. My hope is to provide an enriching and challenging math cirriculum to all students - expect to be challenged and supported in my class!
