I was born and raised in Michigan, where I earned a Bachelors degree in Psychology and Secondary Education from Western Michigan University.  I went on to earn my Master's in Special Education from University of Northern Colorado.  I've lived in Arizona for over 25 years and I'm one of the "original" Nighthawks, having taught at Ironwood Ridge since it opened.  My prior teaching experiences were in Parker and Castle Rock Colorado, along with Amphitheater Middle and High Schools in Tucson.
