Online Learning Adventure
I will post various assignments on Google Classroom each day as well as helpful videos. We will continue to use the ALEKS math program (4 topics per day) and I will be available for office hours through zoom (dates and time on google classroom). I am also available through email if you have any concerns or questions (firstname.lastname@example.org). You are not on your own in your math education, I am here for you as always! Your responsibilities during this time for my class are to check Google Classroom daily for assignments and announcements and 4 topics per day on ALEX.

I so excited to be here at Ironwood Ridge High School and to be teaching my favorite subject – MATH! My goal is prepare your students with a solid foundation so that they may explore all the options that are available to them or the ones they have not thought of yet.
I am a native Virginian and moved to Tucson in 1998. I earned by bachelors degree at George Mason University and my masters in special education at Marymount University. My teaching career began in Fairfax County, Virginia. I have taught Pre-Algebra, Algebra, Geometry, and Study Skills. I have also dabbled in homeschooling my oldest daughter for first grade. My hobbies include making photo books of my family, pottery, and swimming. I have three beautiful girls, Kennedy (13), Reagan (16) and Tyler (21). My husband, of 26 years, is an accounting professor at the Univerity of Arizona. I am looking forward to a fantastic year here at Ironwood Ridge.
