    As I am a geek for all things history, I am constantly seeking out new and interesting tidbits about the subject. Below is a video that shows, in a relatively quick fashion, the proliferation of humanity going back to 200,000 B.C.E. along with the rise and fall of various civilizations on through to the modern age. It's a stark reminder that power can wane and that knowledge persists often long after the civilization responsible for having produced it.
