• 2024 Summer School
    Amphitheater Public Schools offers summer school options for students who want to either recover credit or for advancement. Registration for summer school is available now! 

    Amphitheater Public Schools' AmpUp Summer School program will be held at Canyon del Oro High School (25 W. Calle Concordia). This year's summer school will begin on Tuesday, May 28th and conclude on Thursday, June 20th. Classes begin at 8:30a.m. and dismiss at 3:30p.m.

    Students who enroll in summer school are responsible for transportation to/from school and must abide by the Student Code of Conduct.

    To register, please follow the steps below for one of the two summer school options. (Note: Please complete one registration form per student.) Registration ends May 10th.  All students must be currently enrolled in an Amphitheater school for the 2024-2025 school year.

    There are TWO options for Summer School and they are both free of charge for Amphi Students currently enrolled in the Amphitheater Public School District for the 2024-2025 school year. 


    1) In-person summer school on CDO's Campus. This option may be used for both Credit Recovery (CR) and Advancement. Some classes will be offered with Traditional, Live, In-Person Instruction and some courses will be offered in a lab setting with a certified teacher monitoring and facilitating student learning using Edgenuity as the learning platform.     The summer school day is 8:30am to 3:30pm (7 Hours)


    2) Mesa Distance Learning Program (MDLP)  This option is Online ONLY and may also be used for the purpose of Advancement or Credit Recovery (CR). All MDLP courses require a final exam to be given by the online teacher, in person. The student must make arrangements with their school administrator to take the test at school. To sign-up for this option, please complete the following steps:

    1. Explore the MDLP Course Catalog to see which class(es) you'd like to attend.  
    2. Write down the course number(s) of the class(es).
    3. If this is your first time taking a course through MDLP, go to the MDLP Enrollment website to complete and submit the enrollment form. 

    4. Download, complete and sign the 2024 Summer School MDLP Contract
    5. Once the above steps are completed, submit the signed MDLP Contract to your IRHS Counselor to complete the enrollment process.
