A Bit of Background . . .
I am a native Tucsonan. My early educational days were spent within the Flowing Wells school district. I received both my Bachelor of Arts in English Education and Master of Arts in Language, Reading, and Culture from the University of Arizona. Go CATS! I hold English Language Arts and Community College teaching certifications, and endorsements as a Reading Specialist, as well as a Gifted Specialist.
I enjoy working with young adults and helping them to become better students. I am very passionate about education and its importance for a successful life beyond the school system. I hope that I can create a spark in your student and help them to become lifelong Master Students and learners. I also hope to give students the tools to help them be successful in their future endeavors.

Some work history about me . . .
This is my 17th year with the Amphitheater school district, and this is my 31st year of teaching. My partnership with the Amphitheater school district began in 2004, when I was hired as a Middle School reading and writing teacher at Coronado K-8 school.
Prior to my employment within the Amphi school district, I was an English / Language Arts / Newspaper-Journalism / Dual Credit educator at Casa Grande Union High School where I taught sophomores and seniors for 10 years. During that same time period, I also worked as an Adjunct Professor for Central Arizona College teaching Composition 101 and 102.
