In recognition of outstanding achievement, each department has established criteria for Seals of Excellence, which are awarded to students at the end of their senior year. Students should be aware that the criteria for a Seal of Excellence apply to courses and grades earned from grade 9 through grade 12. It is recommended that students check the application process in their freshman year so that all requirements may be met by the end of their senior year.

Seals of Excellence are offered for: CTE, English, Fine Arts, Math, Modern Languages, Physical Education, Science, and Social Studies. Rubrics pertaining to Seals of Excellence at IRHS have been compiled here for ease of access to information. All questions or communication regarding Seals of Excellence should be directed to the appropriate Department Chair.
