• How will we be conducting IEP meetings?

During this uncertain time in our country, we recognize that we still have a duty to conduct IEP meetings in order to comply with federal guidelines as well as to ensure we are doing what we can to support each and every student. The district has agreed to allow us to conduct these meetings virtually through Zoom. When we schedule meetings, we will email a link to join the meeting at the agreed-upon time. Zoom is a very user-friendly way to host meetings. All it requires is a computer or phone with a camera to participate and a link to join. If you don't have a camera, you are able to participate without one, so you will not be excluded. Below is the link to Zoom if you would like to create an account, but it is not necessary to join a meeting.

    Further Questions

Right now we don't have answers regarding how services will be provided other than our amazing teachers putting resources on their websites to help support their students. Please feel free to email your child's teacher directly with questions. They can even set up personal Zoom meetings to help if needed. If you have further questions, please feel free to email our Special Education Facilitator, Mrs. Samantha Burgin, and she will do her best to address your questions and get an answer as quickly as possible. Thank you for your patience and support. This page will continue to be udpated as we receive more information.
