I am so excited to be here at Ironwood Ridge High School and to be teaching my favorite subject – MATH! My goal is prepare students with a solid foundation so that they may explore all the options that are available to them or the ones they have not thought of yet. I believe that every student has the ability to learn.
I am a native Virginian and moved to Tucson in 1998. I earned by bachelors degree at George Mason University and my masters in special education at Marymount University. My teaching career began in Fairfax County, Virginia. I have taught Pre-Algebra, Algebra, Geometry, Algebra 2 and Study Skills. I have been at Ironwood for ten joyful years.
