Defining Moment in Education
Every moment of connection with kids is a defining moment in my life - like sunshine and fresh air!
Why I am committed to Amphi
Amphi has set the standard in Gifted Education for decades, and I appreciate our dedication to high-quality, relevant education for our children. My children graduated from Ironwood (2019) and CDO (2017) and graduated with confidence and a deep sense of purpose in their journeys. I love the sense of family and community in our schools - we are here for each other, and that makes a difference:)

Philosophy
A healthy classroom fosters a love of lifelong learning, one that nurtures our curious and creative nature and imbues our lives with purpose and passion. Education empowers us with choices and possibilities, with courage and wit to lead happy and rewarding lives. With great power comes great responsibility - to contribute to the greater good, to work for a sustainable future, and to build pathways for all human beings.
To stand at the edge of the sea,
to sense the ebb and flow of the tides,
to feel the breath of a mist moving
over a great salt marsh,
to watch the flight of shore birds
that have swept up and down the surf lines
of the continents for untold thousands of years,
to see the running of the old eels
and the young shad to the sea,
is to have knowledge of things that are
as nearly eternal as any earthly life can be. ~ Rachel Carson
