Download the SORA App or log in to the IRHS SORA eBook Library to read on your devices!INSTRUCTIONS ARE BELOW WITH A VIDEO TUTORIAL AT THE BOTTOM
You can Read or Listen to titles right in your browser without needing additional software.
To get started, borrow a title that's available in the SORA Read or SORA Listen format for our school's SORA website. Then, click or tap on the Read or Listen button on your Checkouts page (under your Account) to begin enjoying your title immediately.
You can also use the free SORA app to borrow and enjoy digital titles.
The SORA app is available for Android™, Chromebook™, iOS® (iPhone/iPad/iPod touch), Kindle Fire® tablets, Kobo® tablets, NOOK® tablets, Windows® 8 and up, and Windows Phone®.
SORA is also available for Windows and Mac® users.

On your phone or tablet, install the SORA app from your device's app store or from https://www.overdrive.com/apps/Step 2
In the app, select Sign up and create a SORA account. This is different than your student ID or school login. Or, if you’re under 13 or don’t want an OverDrive account*, select Under 13 years old or using OverDrive through your school? link.
*A SORA account enables you to download and sync EPUB eBooks on multiple devices.Step 3
Find and save our school’s SORA collection in the SORA app.Step 4
Open our school’s SORA collection, sign in, and borrow or place a hold on a title. You’ll need a valid ID or login to complete this step.Step 5
Borrowed titles will appear on your Checkouts page on the school’s SORA website. From here, you can:- Download titles to the Bookshelf in the SORA app
- Read or Listen to titles right in your browser
- Send Kindle Books (U.S. only) to your Kindle device or Kindle reading app
Borrowed titles will automatically return at the end of the lending period. You can also return titles early to free up space in your school account.
