Hello Future and Fellow Nighthawks!!
It is with great pleasure that I begin my 12th year teaching at Ironwood Ridge.
Cooking is my passion. Food is my FUN!!
I cannot wait to get the 2021 - 2022 school year started.
I have 30 years of experience working in Hospitality.
Starting at 15 years old , bussing tables in a French restaurant my hometown of Nyack, New York.
Quickly, I moved to what we call " The Heart " of a restaurant. The kitchen.
Shucking clams and oysters was my first job.
I moved up in the brigade system while learning to hone my skills working as a Saucier , Head Chef and Sous Chef.
I was able to take my passion and skills to San Fransisco, Switzerland, North Carolina, Colorado, Alasaka and here in Tucson.
I feel blessed to be able to teach you what I have learned about cooking.
