The award-winning Ironwood Ridge Orchestra program consists of all string instruments (Violin, Viola, Cello, Bass). The ensemble performs intermediate - advanced musical literature, with a large emphasis on unifying sound production, tone, and technique. Every year, the group regularly participates in festivals throughout the state of Arizona in both the fall and spring. Participation in AMEA all-regional and/or all-state ensembles are encouraged for all students. All members of this ensemble will also have multiple opportunities to combine with our band program for full symphony orchestra performances throughout the school year.
