The Ironwood Ridge guitar program consists of the study of acoustic guitar and popular styles. The ensemble performs beginning - advanced musical literature, depending on ability level., The class places a large emphasis on unifying sound production, tone, technique. Every year, the group regularly participates in festivals throughout the state of Arizona in both the fall and spring. Participation in AMEA all-regional and/or all-state ensembles are encouraged for all students. All members of this ensemble , and stressing musical literacy for both classcial notation & guitar tabulature.
