• Concert Percussion is the center of the Ironwood Ridge percussion program. Enrolled students will learn tachniques in all major areas of percussion: snare drum, keyboards, timpani, drum set, accessories, and hand drums. Throughout the school year, percussion students will learn advanced musical techniques through the study and performance of both classic and modern chamber ensemble repertoire. Peercussionists will also combine with the IRHS concert bands and orchestras for performances throughout the school year. The percussion program at Ironwood Ridge also offers performance oppuritunities with jazz bands, indoor percussion ensemble (spring only), marching band (fall only), and AMEA Solo & Ensemble, All-Regional Festival, and All-State Festival.
