Mr. Bill Lang
Welcome to the website of Mr. Lang, Ironwood Ridge's Computer Sciences Teacher Volleyball Coach. Lang begins his 13th year in the classroom at Ironwood Ridge, teaching Software and App Design along with the new AP Computer Science Prinicples course. Lang is also the school's volleyball coach, beginning his 21th season at the helm for Nighthawks.
Prior to joining the IR faculty, Lang served as the Information Director at W.J. Lang Construction, Inc. handing business administration duties including human resources, accounting, network protocol, and database development. Lang also spent four years in the banking industry with Security Pacific and Caliber Bank.
In addition, he was a database administrator in charge of promoting voter registration for local Political Action Committees.
Mr. Lang is a product of the Amphitheather School District from K-12 (Canyon del Oro, Cross, Mesa Verde, Donaldson) before attending Pima College and the University of Arizona.
Born on January 26, 1970 in Batavia, New York, Lang is married to the former Charmaine Mayzak. Together, they have two daughters, Cosette Elizabeth and Isabella Antoinette. Cosette is a graduate of Ironwood Ridge and currently a Junior at the University of Arizona, while Isabella is in her Senior year at Ironwood Ridge
Mr. Lang's CTE classroom offers students a dynamic learning environment where projects and professional relationships assist in developing every student's career and academic potential. Student's utilize state-of-the-art computer stations and accessories with industry-standard software.
